Recent Updates - Maxmail Updates

Importing contacts from any email address

In version 3 (current) Maxmail has introduced a new feature that lets users populate lists using contacts in their email mailboxes.

This feature is now available for POP3 mailboxes too. This means Maxmail can import your contacts regardless of whether or not you have IMAP capable mailboxes. The only limitation is that you must make sure under mailbox options, you have turned on the "Save emails on my server for X days" feature.

To import contacts from an email address follow the steps below.

Create a new list

Select Import From Email List in the Add Subscribers Screen

Provide your email address and password that is used to log into the mailbox you are trying to import contacts from.

Choose which folders you wish to import contacts from and click on the Pull My Contacts button

Depending on the size of your mailbox and the number of emails you have in them, this process may take a few minutes. Once your emails have been checked for contacts you will have the option of selecting the ones you wish to import into the list.

Click all to select all contacts (or select them one by one) and click the Import Selected button.
